These terms and conditions (the “Agreement”) outline the rights, responsibilities, and obligations between Elite Cleaning Corp. (referred to as “Company”, “We,” or “Us”) and the customer (referred to as “Customer”, “You”, or “Client”) in relation to the cleaning services provided by the Company. You agree to abide by these terms and conditions by using our services.
Cleaning Services
- The scope and details of the cleaning services will be agreed upon before the commencement of services.
- Any additional services not agreed upon before beginning the service will be an add-on and subject to an additional charge.
Booking and Payment
- Bookings can be made via our website. A valid payment method must be provided at the time of booking: cash, credit card, e-transfer, or gift card.
- Payment is due in full when booking a schedule online.
- A Pre-authorized payment will be processed as hold in the customer’s card when booking but payment and charged once the job is completed.
- The Customer understands that he or she will have to provide credit card or other payment information (the “Information”) to the company to be able to purchase services. The customer discloses that the Information provided shall be accurate and complete. The company will use the Information to charge the customer for all purchased services. All customer payment Information shall be kept confidential and shall only be used for the express purpose for which it was provided.
- Elite Cleanings reserves the right to reevaluate rates at any time based on the time required to perform our service to meet the client’s standards. We will monitor the actual cleaning time for the first two months and occasionally thereafter. We will contact you to discuss possible price or service revisions if the cleaning time differs drastically from the original bid. We reserve the right to adjust the estimate after the job is completed.
- Direct deposit payment must be made prior to the next scheduled weekly or fortnightly service if the service is ongoing.
- A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for an End-of-lease or Move-out Out Clean or commercial cleanings.
- Credit card payments will incur a 1.5%-2% surcharge depending on the type of credit card used.
- The customer agrees to pay a late fee administration charge of $10 per day for each day after the 7-day period that payment is not received
- The Client agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit, if: a) The Client cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment; b) The Client fails to provide access to the service premises thus preventing the Company to carry out the booked work; c) There is a problem with the Client’s keys and the Cleaner cannot let themselves in. If keys are provided they must open all locks without any special efforts or skills.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
- Please note that the Company cannot guarantee that the same operative will be available on the new day and at the time the Client requires. Any changes in the cleaning schedule are subject to availability.
- Any changes to the service originally agreed to between Elite Cleanings Corp. and the customer must be advised, and the price agreed on, prior to the service commencing.
- If time allows, Elite Cleanings may agree to provide any additional services on that same day. Otherwise, a day and time that suits both can be agreed on. For the best outcome, please call a day or so ahead to make sure all your needs can be met.
- If any case to weather conditions the company has a right to the rescheduling of services.
Customer Responsibilities
- PETS and PLANTS: We cannot be responsible for pets that “escape” when our maids are entering/exiting your home. If you have pets, our cleaners do appreciate it when they are secured and that you pick up after them. If your pet will be “roaming free” during the cleaning, please let us know in advance, so the maids can be on alert when they open doors. Due to the individual care that plants require, we are not able to water or maintain them.
- CLUTTER: The cleaning will be far more satisfactory if the team does not have a great deal of clutter with which to contend. Desks that have a large amount of paperwork for instance may not be cleaned
- DELICATE & VALUABLE ITEMS: All fragile and highly breakable and valuable items must be secured or removed prior to the start of cleaning. We will not be responsible for valued personal goods, so please ensure to keep your valuables safe.
Quotations
- Elite Cleanings Corp prides itself on accurate quotes. Whilst our online quote system will give you an estimate, we will always confirm the exact price of the cleaning before commencing the cleaning on the day.
- If a service is requested outside of the original quote (e.g., the addition of an oven or window cleaning) you will be informed of any extra cost before work commences.
Access and Security
- You are responsible for providing access to the premises on the scheduled cleaning day.
- We will take reasonable care of your property during the cleaning process. However, we are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions or items improperly secured
Health & Safety
- If you have any health or safety concerns, including allergies or sensitivities, you must inform us prior to the cleaning service.
- Our staff will use appropriate cleaning products, but you are responsible for providing any specific products you wish us to use.
- If, at any time prior to, or during your service, the staff of Elite Cleanings feels there is a safety issue, they can terminate the service at their discretion.
Confidentiality
- We respect your privacy and will not disclose any personal or confidential information to third parties without your consent.
- You agree to allow pictures/videos to be taken of home surfaces for records to guarantee service and quality assurance.
Liability
- The Company shall not be liable under any circumstances for any loss, expense, damage, delay, costs or compensation (whether direct, indirect or consequential) which may be suffered or incurred by the Client arising from or in any way connected with a late arrival of Company operatives at the service address.
- The Company endeavours to be right on time on any visit but sometimes due to transport-related or other problems that are beyond the Company’s control, the Company operatives may arrive with a delay or the cleaning visit may be re-scheduled.
- The Company will not be liable for any existing damage to Client’s property in the form of old stains/burns/spillages etc. which cannot be cleaned/removed completely by the cleaning operative.
Termination
- No Term or contract for one time cleans : There is no term to this agreement between the client or Duty Cleaners. You may cancel your one-time cleaning service before 24hrs prior to the scheduled booking.
- Elite Cleanings also reserves the right to cancel the service provided at any time.
- Termination of contract is subject to be enforced by signed agreement of both parties involved.
Amendments
- We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to you in advance.
Satisfaction & Complaints
- Customers must report dissatisfaction with the service provided, within 24 hours of completion of the service. Elite Cleanings Corp. will endeavour to resolve the problem quickly and efficiently.
- Refunds: since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we cannot offer refunds to clients. If you are not happy, we will come back and re‐clean any areas free of charge according to our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
- All complaints are taken seriously. If you are not happy with any aspect of our service please call us as soon as possible and give us the chance to rectify it. Your custom is very important to us and we want you to be happy.
Accidents and Theft
The client is responsible for securing – cash, jewellery and any other items of value. If you have valuables or heirlooms, etc., it would be helpful if they would be put away to avoid accidents. Regrettable and although not common, from time to time, something may be broken. Our personnel are instructed to call our office at once if ANYTHING is broken, and to leave you a note advising you of the accident. In the event an item is damaged or broken, we reserve the option to repair or replace the item, if it was caused by our team, you must report this incident within 24 hrs of service.
Hiring Elite Cleaning Staff
Our teams have signed a Non-Compete agreement with Elite Cleanings Corp. They are prohibited from soliciting business from any client on his/her own behalf or on behalf of any third party during their contract with Duty Cleaners or for 2 years following the termination of the contract, without written approval from Duty Cleaners. You agree not to hire past or present teams of Duty Cleaners for a period of not less than 2 years from the date the team member last worked for Duty Cleaners. A great deal of time and resources are put into picking out the best team. In the event you feel you must hire a team member of Elite Cleaners in spite of this agreement, then a $2,500.00 placement fee is due immediately upon employment of the past/present team member, regardless of whether the employment is regular or on a contract basis.
No Term or Contract: There is no term to this agreement between the client or Elite Cleaners. You may cancel your re-occurring or one-time cleaning service before 24hrs before the scheduled booking.
Does not apply for cleanings scheduled through commercial contracts.
Elite Cleanings also reserves the right to cancel the service provided at any time.
Our Guarantee
Elite Cleanings has built its business and reputation by providing its clients with the best possible cleaning service available. Still, the Company realizes, that because its operatives are human beings, they sometimes make mistakes. For this reason, the Company offers a Guarantee. If the Client is not satisfied with any areas that have been cleaned, the Company’s operative will come back to the Client’s premises and re-clean those areas free of charge.

Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 8:00pm (occasionally later and on weekends). After hours and weekends, a voicemail can be left and we will return it on the next business day.
